Andres Fielbaum is a Senior Lecturer in Transport Engineering at the University of Sydney and an Australian Research Council DECRA Fellow. His research focuses on the design and operation of public transport and emerging mobility systems, with particular interests in on-demand public transport, ridepooling, transport networks, and transport system dynamics. Before joining the University of Sydney, he was a postdoctoral researcher at TU Delft and completed his PhD in Systems Engineering at Universidad de Chile. He is an Associate Editor for Transportation Research Part B and the Journal of Intelligent Transportation Systems, and has published more than 40 papers spanning multiple areas of transport systems.
